February 22, 201511 yr Author Chris Jones suspension wasn't very long. Rumer has it, it was for skipping class. I won't dog a kid for that. I will say I hate Pitino's "indefinite" suspensions. I would imagine that he suspends the player until the player fixes whatever is wrong though.
February 22, 201511 yr Interesting that near the end of the game, the commentators (Doris Burke and the guy both) were k=likening this one to an old Big East contest. Then Pitino said the same thing - likened the ACC to "Big East South".

February 22, 201511 yr Glad to see Harrell is still a punk. Should have been thrown out of the game. The ball slipped out of his sweaty hands. Obviously he wouldn't have given up a potential putback for no other reason.
February 22, 201511 yr Pitino has tough discipline ......uh, unless he needs the kid. Harrell is a cheap shot Thug. The End.
February 22, 201511 yr So what did Harrell do? He's being called punk and thug again so he must have done something questionable. Anyone have video?
February 22, 201511 yr So what did Harrell do? He's being called punk and thug again so he must have done something questionable. Anyone have video? I don't have video, but he grabbed an offensive rebound and the ball must have slipped out of his hands while he was trying to flex and scream. I imagine he was trying to squash the ball, however it slipped out of his hands. Anyway, Harrell was inbounds, grabbed an offensive rebound, but didn't go for the offensive putback. Instead the ball was directed at an opposing players face that was out of bounds at about 60mph.
February 22, 201511 yr The only thing I can figure is that Harrell thought he was going to walk. Whatever the reason I thought he should've apologized or at least checked on the player. Disappointed that he did not.

Disappointed that he did not. It would have been hard to walk in that situation, he had not even moved his feet. When he made contact with the ref, Pitino wrote it off as Harrell being an emotional player, I imagine this is what happened today. If UL offers a course in anger management, he would be a prime candidate for it.
February 22, 201511 yr That really doesn't look like an accident.. It didn't look like one to the officials either. They hit him with a Flagrant One Foul.
