PurplePride92 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Brandon is transferring. Any word where to? Closer to home? Same level?

NEERFAN Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Sound like it shocked the head coach. I'm sure it's a different type of environment. NKU have a shot?
Qryche11 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Haven't most colleges started Fall session already? That is a shame but it's tough going from being "The Man" your entire grade school and HS career to "A man" at a Div 1 program. Always enjoyed watching Hatton play the game, hope he lands with a good school where he can be the "Man" again.
TAC Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Any word where to? Closer to home? Same level? I'd be shocked if he comes back to be closer to home. Heard he picked Vermont to get away. Than again, maybe the grass was not greener?

He did that as one of the reasons. I was always suspect that he would stay four years. My guess is he'll be closer to home.

If being "The Man" happens to be what he's aiming for (and I don't doubt that it is) then perhaps a highly competitive D2 program is a better fit for him than a sub-Vermont mediocre D1 program where he might get his minutes and numbers, but play under ho-hum circumstances on an average team.
Yo Mama Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I can't imagine that he's gonna want to sit a year, and as stated before most schools have been in session a couple of weeks or so. Maybe JUCO for a year?

I wish him luck to find the right spot for him and continue his education.
hoops5 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Let's not assume that he is trying to be "The Man". That is a suggested opinion here that now has legs of it's own. Could be a whole slew of reasons. Good luck to Hatton.

MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Brandon is transferring. A buddy of mine owes me $100. This is a nice surprise. I hope he ends up in a place that makes him happy.
