1:17:47 is VERY close to being out of bounds. It sure looks like a travel to me...3 steps with no dribble.

Just watched that one again ... the rebounder bounced the ball once before passing it up court.

The guy who got the rebound isn't the one who traveled I don't believe...

He grabbed the ball and moved both feet before he dribbled. Easiest travel call a ref will ever have to make, and they swallowed the whistle.

I watched this one again and I will correct myself. I do think that one was traveling. Not the easiest call ever, as it is very close, but he did put his pivot foot back down just before dribbling.

We can sit here and debate calls until the cows come home. The calls were bad both ways. I just feel the walk is a black and white thing, plus it was so blatant.

OlDog I found this one for you...it'll be fun just watching you figure out how to ride it.

Ha ha, I'll get it figured out. Hopefully I won't have to, but just have the meatwagon handy! :lol2:

Actually Booker was absolutely on fire, then Calipari promptly benched him and he never got his rhythm back when he reentered the game. He did come up with some key baskets late, though.

True.

Last years team at this time would have folded.

Last year's team I'd say had some fight and heart in them all along. They folded all the way to the title game.

Let's be honest with each other, they folded quite a bit in games like that during the regular season. They learned to fight and pull through in the post season.

This team is very very beatable. Better get it ironed out by March or Duke takes home the title. If LSU, GA, A&M , UF, and Ole Miss can threaten them, you can bet Duke, UVA, and Gonzaga are threats.

Coach Cal is just holding back the reigns. There will be a tweak in the next 2-4 weeks.

You mean the same Duke team that has lost to unranked NC State and Miami (at home)? Or the Virginia team that just last night got taken to the wire by NC State and earlier this year overcame a 10 point second half deficit to survive against god-awful Virginia Tech? Or the Gonzaga team that barely escaped Pepperdine with a win, and faced a halftime deficit against awful Santa Clara?

Those the teams you're talking about? Look, everyone is beatable Kentucky included, but it's amazing how people are trying to hold close wins against them while overlooking the same for other top teams.

As I said in the update thread, Towns also got away with a foul on that big rebound before Booker's FTs. They go both way.

I agree, thought the game was poorly refed on both ends!

Last time he made a tweak we had to go to 3 overtimes to beat Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
