February 6, 201511 yr Oh okay, not in downtown Cincinnati that often and especially not recently since moved out of the area. Sounds like something that can only be a positive. It's been wonderful for downtown. I believe the newest part of construction is for the GE building. Edited February 6, 201511 yr by HammerTime
February 6, 201511 yr I applaud the Reds. They seem to make improvements each season while PBS stays the same.
February 6, 201511 yr Those upgrades look really, really nice. GABP is an underrated park. I've always thought it was just okay for a new park. It seems kind of cheap compared to some of the parks of its era like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and San Francisco. Still a lot better than Riverfront.

Definitely positive. Although its been hurting Newport on the Levee (but that's their own fault for not keeping up).
February 6, 201511 yr That's one of the biggest bottlenecks in the stadium. So I hope whatever they're doing doesn't make it worse.
February 6, 201511 yr I've always thought it was just okay for a new park. It seems kind of cheap compared to some of the parks of its era like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and San Francisco. Still a lot better than Riverfront. Reds lost out on $40 million when the Bengals went $40 million over their budget. $40 million on a $400 million stadium is all of those nice touches you see in Pitt, STL, PHI. One thing the Castellini's have done since taking over is continue to upgrade bad/unused areas. If you think about the stadium in 2005/2006 to where it is now with these party areas, bars, Kroger Fan Zone, scoreboard, etc. it's really come a long way and I applaud ownership for that.
February 7, 201511 yr I'm hoping to go during either the Cubs or Indians series in July while on vacation. Outside shot I might go to ASG.
February 7, 201511 yr Haven't been to a MLB park in a few years. I refuse to pay that ransom for a damn beer. And like Lay's potato chips, I just couldn't stop at one. Knock back a few at HofbrauHaus — or home — and get loaded beforehand. Then you can nurse one or two at the game and the pocketbook damage is somewhat limited.
