February 5, 201511 yr Giant bar will be part of Great American Ball Park's transformation for All-Star Game: EXCLUSIVE - Cincinnati Business Courier The Cincinnati Reds are revamping another part of Great American Ball Park by adding a giant bar just in time to host the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The Reds are building a bar to be called The Bootlegger on the first-base side of the lower-level concourse. They're carving out one side of the enormous, four-sided concession stand that houses local favorites like Skyline and LaRosa's. Those will remain, but the Reds are converting the side facing the field into the Bootlegger, Reds COO Phil Castellini told me on Thursday.

February 5, 201511 yr When I was downtown in Cincinnati last summer, I noticed a lot of construction in between Paul Brown and GABP, what are they building? Yeah, I have enjoyed a few games there, so convenient if you want to walk over the bridge to Levee before or after a game.

Restaurants, apartments or condos, bars, entertainment district.

Oh okay, not in downtown Cincinnati that often and especially not recently since moved out of the area. Sounds like something that can only be a positive.
February 6, 201511 yr Camel, you need to come back this summer and go to a game and spend time at the Banks. Cincinnati has done an excellent job with its development. Besides what LA said regarding MANY restaurants and bars, etc.,t here is also a nice park area as well...great for walkers and joggers.
