The 11th and 12th will have to earn every second of the tournament to win it all. If the State Champ comes from the 11th or 12th then they will have proven by far that they were the best team in the state this year.

So glad to have another great poster support my GRC Cards. You will love to watch them play. Very small but quick and athletic. Not as talented as most teams,but they get after it and don't quick. Defense is our bread and butter, just got to be consistent on the offensive side. They have lots of heart,very unselfish and amaze me how they can rebound for being so small.We will play 10 players each game so we have a deep bench. Very special team this year. We may not win it all, but they have already passed my exceptions.

If their defence don't create points they can have problems. Drawing Paris in first round of the district is a much better matchup than BC or MoCo.

 

The Mason game will give them a chance to prove they can beat a team like this.

So glad to have another GRC supporter!!!! I didn't realize we had so many out there. Agree 100% on the bolded. This type team is the ones I am concerned about. Also agree our defense has to create points. We also can't have a bad quarter against these teams. Need to be productive all 4 quarters. We have several games left on the schedule we can prove besides Mason. We have Scott Co, LCA and Henry Clay. Not a easy schedule, but one that will prepare us for post season. If we can get 2 wins out of those 4 game, I will be happy. All are on the road except the LCA game.

Well I believe that that team will come out of the 9th and this team will come out of the 10th. But it that team wins the 10th then the 9th will have a problem. But if this team wins the 9th they will have no problem with 10th but they will have to play that team from the 13th or the 6th. Wait a minute, who is come out of the 9th? Who's in the 1st. I don't know 8th region. Nevermind 5th. :idunno:

Maybe I'm the only one, but I think the 13th, while a fair underdog, has a little more of a chance than they've been given (i.e., comments that the 6th will just roll through them easily). Doss would be favored against any team out of the 13th for good reason, but if they were to meet Clay County, it'd be Doss, a team who hasn't been there in awhile, playing a team who'd made their 3rd trip in 3 years. No one gave Clay County a shot at all last year, but they only wound up losing to Covington Catholic by 2, so I'd say they gave the eventual State Champs all they wanted and then some.
