I wish Johnny the best and I am glad to see him man up and admit he needs help.

How does this affect the drug testing policy?

I assume HIPPA would keep everything private and saying you have a problem isn't a crime, right?

sadly...NOTHING is private when you're a pro athlete

Good for him. I hope he is able to get a grip on his life before it is too late.

Apparently a Vegas casino offered him six figures to host a Super Bowl party but he declined. That's a good first step.

There was lots of pressure from the Browns for him to go...No surprise. I hope he succeeds and has a successful career

I don't think it's a HIPPA thing, but what if he was randomly chosen for a sample at the same time he enters? Perhaps it's his way of getting ahead of a suspendable offense.

Who would have ever thunk it. Anyone with a brain could see this train wreck, but hopefully he gets back on track. He is very talented and a shame to waste it.

If he entered before he takes a sample penalties are less if he were to fail. If he took a sample then entered, penalties remain the same.

If he was smart he would have cleaned up/out anything in his system before taking the plunge.

A lot of talking heads are talking about him being an alcoholic and needing help. While he may be an alcoholic, how sure are they that that's what his main problem is?

A minefield for sure.

The rolled up money should give us another clue.
