Highlands 2015

You talk about the kool-aid...there are several kids over the years that never even saw the field until their senior year in mop up duty. They went all four years of the program, all the off season workouts, the double sessions, weight training and just for the hope they get in their senior year and that usually came in blowouts. It's amazing the participation levels they get. They graduate about 30 seniors a year and there are only 22 spots on offense and defense...so you know they aren't all playing. The platooning in recent history helps some of that, but think back prior to those days. They still had an average of 30 seniors, they had several athletes going both ways and usually many Jr's involved...so think how many seniors didn't see the field in those days. But they still avg 85-100 kids. Heck, I think my sophomore year (I'm not telling you when!), we had double numbers because we were over 100. And back then, the enrollment was much less!

Well they fixed that problem a few short years after you left. They had the team down to the 30's with less than a dozen or so seniors. Seemed to pick up nice after that though.

YOU WOULD KNOW!

You don't look old enough to have graduated yet, thought you were head cheerleader.

A boy not playing football in Ft. Thomas is like a boy not playing baseball in the Dominican.

Will the Highlands games have video feeds this year, or will it continue to be audio only?

How do they not have this coordinated with the Film Dept up at the High School being a First Class operation. Is there some sort of legal issue with broadcasting games? I think the audio is great but it would be nice to see a game live online in the event you can't make a game in person.

I don't see how streaming the games would help the school. It is likely to lose money at the gate and it would make it very easy for teams to scout.

Sounds like something Dale would say. You really think it would be easier to scout a team based upon watching games that the school puts on? That is what HUDL is for. This is not the day of driving to Kmart and meeting a coach in the parking lot to exchange films.

For what it is worth, I have been told no audio or video for tonight.

On a more serious note, will games be broadcast this year with I-High no longer being in existence? Have not heard or seen much of the modern day Dale, Hardy and Jeff except for an occasional pose at the Highland Avenue Gym.
