Being a USC fan, I love it. The Oregon fans I have come across in my travels act like they have all the National Championships combined that Alabama, USC, Notre Dame, and Ohio St. have. At this point in time, they have 0!! I hope Ohio St. waxes them Monday Night.

Marijuana is legal in Oregon, isn't it? Is this something we are going to see more of going forward? Should a player be ruled ineligible for marijuana, especially when he resides in a state where it is legal?

I questioned that earlier, although I was joking somewhat. Basically the NCAA, has authority over that. The same as an employer still has the right to drug test against any substance they choose.

 

IMO, its a bit of a grey area, but it is what it is. It's honestly no different than an employer testing for alcohol, which is common practice at refineries and such. I don't necisserily agree with it, but that would be a topic for another thread.

Well, one thing about these players being ineligible. If Oregon wins the game, it will be the most incredible coaching job in the history of the NCAA. Kind of like winning a playoff game with a 3rd string QB.

I'd guess that the lack of responses on here might have something to do with the fact that on the season this kid has 3 carries for 17 yards. This is a none issue for Oregon with regards to the competitive aspect of the game.

We're they 21 (which is the age minimum for recreational use) or did he have a prescription? These are probably the type of questions they look into when considering punishment. All just a guess.

Exactly, it all depends on who you interact with. Fans are obnoxious everywhere, at least when their team is successful.
