When Griffey gets in today Moeller will be the first non-California high school to have multiple HOFers. Only 6 other schools total.

Lots of talk that the expectation is for Griffey to set a new record for highest % of votes ever received. I know he won't be unanimous because some jack-wagons like to be difficult, but if he gets the record, it'll be a well-deserved honor.

I want the guy that doesn't vote for Griffey to explain his logic.

If Bonds gets in would his bust of his head look like one of the bobbleheads?

How could they make such a huge head

I'm sure they will in every media appearance they can get and in as many articles as they can milk it for.

I read an article on this earlier today. Some don't fill out their ballot at all as a form of protest for something. These get counted. Some won't vote for Griffey, because they know he'll get in with ease, so they use their votes to try to get other guys in or another year on the ballot.

I've love to see him get in unanimously and where his hat backwards.

3 people didn't vote for him.

Pretty neat to see him and Piazza make it. The one is the first number 1 pick to make the HOF, and the other was a 62nd draft pick.

For some reason I always loved Piazza. I always made sure to come to at least 1 Reds vs Mets game just to see him. He was electric because he was the most average looking person I've ever seen do what he did.

Then you get to Griffey who could have been the greatest player of all time if he didn't miss all those games in Cincy. Everytime I went to the ballpark it was always special to watch him play. I would love to see his hat backwards in that plaque, it would only be fitting.

With all respect Loogy, no backwards caps PLEASE!

Could someone start a new thread with links to the story for the Class of 2016.

I'm on my phone and can't get links to post.

The HOF has final say on which cap a player wears but takes input from the player. HOF is apparently open to Griffey's being backwards.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Piazza have no logo. If there is one it has to be the Mets.

I read that it's POSSIBLE the writers didn't vote for him because a)they're limited to 10 b)they knew he'd get in so c)they used one of their 10 votes for someone who needed the vote.
