December 12, 201510 yr The last one in the series, at least to this point in time. I love Robert B. Parker's books. I've read all of his Spenser, Jesse Stone, and Virgil Cole/Everett Hitch series. Also glad that Ace Atkins, Farrel Coleman, and Robert Knott are continuing the series in the RBP style.

December 19, 201510 yr I've never read The Grapes of Wrath. It was an optional summer assignment when I was in high school. I thought it looked boring as hell and picked something else. I'm about halfway through now and it's incredible. I'm glad I didn't read it in high school because I wouldn't have understood it. Not because it's incomprehensible or dense, you just need to have some life under your belt to connect.
