January 2, 201511 yr When you put up 35 against a third-string signal-caller, you're supposed to win.
January 2, 201511 yr Kiffin takes way too much flack for being an unlikeable person. He should apply for a job at FSU. He'd fit right in.
January 2, 201511 yr Author Was his job on the line? If it's not, it should be. He is a terrible play caller.
January 2, 201511 yr The defensive coordinator should be more worried than Lane. 42 points from a 3rd string QB from the Big 10?
January 2, 201511 yr When you put up 35 against a third-string signal-caller, you're supposed to win. Yep. You know what got Bama beat? The secondary that has been awful all year.....who is that coached by?
January 2, 201511 yr Author The defensive coordinator should be more worried than Lane. 42 points from a 3rd string QB from the Big 10? And 21 of those came off of bad play calling by Kiffin.
January 2, 201511 yr Yep. You know what got Bama beat? The secondary that has been awful all year.....who is that coached by? Ironically their secondary is coached by Saban. They may have a DB coach in name but the guy that runs the show in their DB Indy is Saban.
January 2, 201511 yr The defensive coordinator should be more worried than Lane. 42 points from a 3rd string QB from the Big 10? The secondary hurt them. Along with their D line. They have only interior D Lineman. They have no true D ends, it's hurt them the past 2 years.
January 2, 201511 yr I wanted Bama to win, but to watch Kiffin call stupid plays gave me great joy. Not a fan of that guy.

Not trying to bail out the "D", but they did force two early turnovers that gave the offense great field position to score two TD's. Special teams gave the offense another short field, but the offense didn't capitalize. The offense was awful on third down, forced the ball to an obviously depleted Yeldon and spent to much time trying to get the ball to their TE on screens and not enough time getting the ball to Cooper on deeper routes, IMO.
