December 23, 201411 yr I heard wrong, he hit only 65% of his passes. However besides the pick, he played exactly the type of game people wanted from him. For people saying he needs to be completing the ball down the field, well if he could accurately do that all the time then he wouldn't be just a game manager QB. People seem to go against what they said they wanted from Andy. They say they want him to be at least a game manager, however get mad when he doesn't perform like a top QB lol. Honestly before the last two games, Dalton was having one of his best years throwing the ball down field IMO. Just look at the Pittsburgh game two weeks ago too, he was on the money. However the last two weeks he hasn't been close when throwing down field. However he has managed the game like people have said they wanted. AD has certainly regressed this year, not sure why. The past two years he finished in the top half of QBs but this year is hovering around the bottom quarter. Did he reach his level and is already falling off? New OC? Injuries to the offense? Really hoped he would continue to show the improvement he had shown through his first three years but we're not getting it.

Really hoped he would continue to show the improvement he had shown through his first three years but we're not getting it. Look at last year when he threw over 30 TD's. He had a great talented crew to throw to. He had Green, Marvin Jones who is a true #2 receiver and is better than Sanu as a WR, Sanu as a #3, Andrew Hawkins, Eifert, Gresham, and Gio out of the backfield. This year he hasn't had Jones, Eifert, and Hawkins, and Green has missed a few games, and so has Gio. So the Bengals had done a good job surronding him with talented play makers, however he was missing a lot of them this year.
December 23, 201411 yr Because Marvin pulled Pacman from punt return, the one that Tate took for about 60 plus yards. Oh my. You're serious aren't you. I'm sorry... You actually think Marvin Knew Tate was going to take a return 60 yds? Wow Marvins a freakin genius. Coach of the Century if not all time...
December 23, 201411 yr What a game to go to! I know a lot of people on here do not enjoy the stadium experience as much as sitting in the comfort of their homes watching, but the atmosphere last night was incredible!! (Even with the rain in the 2nd half) Excellent point! This was the best experience I have ever had at a Bengals game. It was unreal awesome!
December 23, 201411 yr Excellent point! This was the best experience I have ever had at a Bengals game. It was unreal awesome! It was great for me because my younger son came in from Lexington and was with me through the downpour until the end. I remembered to bring my rain gear (I checked the forecast)! We even did Gold Star afterwards for our 2 for 1 3 ways! I watched ESPN and NFL Network when I got home and didn't get to bed until after 2am! Great night!

Besides, I didn't need or want rain gear last night, I was ready for some football.

I'm more concerned about some poor throws and decisions that I had hoped would be a memory at the end of his 4th year starting.

December 23, 201411 yr How long have you had season tickets? Did you not attend any of the playoff games during the Boomer years? Only about 8 years and no.
December 23, 201411 yr Only about 8 years and no. I'm sure the night games are always a better atmosphere than the day games, and given the Bengals were actually winning a prime time game I would imagine it would have been one of the best ever. I was just wondering if the games were louder at Riverfront given it was an enclosed stadium.

I was just wondering if the games were louder at Riverfront given it was an enclosed stadium. Too young to remember. It was really loud last night at some important times and when we took over after the last interception. When you draw it up in the book, this is how a home win is supposed to feel and if they were all anything close to last night you couldn't buy a ticket for twice face value.
