Bengals 37 Broncos 28

For as much loyalty as Marvin usually has for his players (ie: Gresham), I think the pulling of Newman was huge. Manning was targeting him seemingly every pass. Glad that Dre stepped up. (Was worried about a potential taunting penalty during the pick 6, though.)

Marvin also pulled Pacman after the taunting penalty on the next punt return, and tate went huge.

I'm just glad Hellbird is ok.

The penalty was on Nelson

Not to take away from an outstanding Bengals win, but is Manning more hurt than we're led to believe? He had no zip on passes in the first half and he knew it. For instance, they had a WR screen set up on a third down that he normally would have checked out of, but the Bengals ate it up because they knew he wasn't going down field. He seemed to loosen up in the third quarter a bit, but Bengal DBs still feasted on weakly thrown balls.

Manning looks done. I'm worried about him to be honest. Its sad to see any great player at the end of the tunnel. I hope he's just playing possum.

Did you not see Marvin in Pacmans face after the INT, he wasnt telling him Happy Holidays.

I did. Jones waved at the Broncos bench. 20 must have done something a little more edgier. Doesn't really matter. But lets not start portraying Marvin as the next Forest Gregg. Marvins a kitten and always will be.

The penalty could've been on both of them. They both ran right over there and started jawing.

Don't think he would be playing possum with a home playoff game at stake on National TV. Something is off.

Defense, running game and special teams have to continue to step up if Bengals are going to do anything. Best we can get out of AD is to hopefully not turn the ball over and to make enough plays to keep the opposing defense honest and give our D time to rest. Teams have found success with that formula, maybe we can.

Could have been. Wasn't. So did they pull Nelson? Nope. So lets not make a big deal the Jones got pulled for a play or two. So why point out something as trivial as that and act like it was a great coaching move?

He's been tossing slow pitch softballs for a few weeks now. If he can't rainbow it in over 15 yards to beat bad coverage he is struggling big time. Count on it getting a lot of run this week...

It should. I compared his ball to that of the Colts QB in the original Tecmo Bowl.

84 had a big game. Maybe we should talk about things that matter...

Big win... Too bad the offense doesn't have Jones or Eiffert... And the defense doesn't have Burfict. I'd like their chances of making a run in the playoffs better if those guys were available.

And Green may be hurt bad enough to screw up his effectiveness.
