Sacred Heart JV survived a scrappy Notre Dame team last night on a shot with 1.4 seconds left by Cierra Scott. The Valkyries were led by Natalie Fichter with 12 points and Cierra Scott with 8. Notre Dame was led by Abbey Tierney with 15 points.

Nice comeback win by the Valkyries in this one. Down 9 with three minutes remaining the girls picked up the defense and scratched their way back into the game.

And just how many girls did FTH move DOWN to play in today's game? SK had dominated them twice this year in the home and away games.

 

Never understand the length some teams will go through to win a game. If your girls play JV and NO Frosh, leave them up. Don't pull them down to play against a group of 7th graders and second tier frosh.
