I believe we had a conversation about this type of scenario Saturday night at dinner. You can only do so much to keep the score down without making it obvious, and then that becomes an even bigger slap in the face if you ask me.

It's gotten to a point that anytime there's a lopsided score in any sport the winner is accused of running it up. Sometimes teams are just a whole lot better then their opponent. Having been on the short end of MANY lopsided scores it would have been more humiliating to me to watch another team actively try not to score (pass up open shots, fall down with the ball, strike out on purpose) then for them to just play.

This is why you just play the game the way it should be played and let what happens take place. Kick tail and move on. It is their job to stop you from kicking that tail and if they can't stop it then exploit the hell out of it. That's how real life works and we'll do all of our kids a favor if we let them destroy those who aren't as good as them and let them get destroyed by those who are better than them. It's all about life lessons, people. If you can't swim, don't jump in the water.

Boy I'm sure glad you declined to come to our tourney! Since you have no integrity you would have beaten us by 100. LOL. Don't let them get to you. You do a great job with the kids and don't let e few bad apples spoil the whole bunch. At least your issues are with parents from the other team, not your own. I've seen that happen many a time.
