I think Cooper may have something to say about Ryle being the favorite. Cooper is returning more starters off a team that beat Ryle this past year. I think they will have a BATTLE for district champs next year. SK and Ryle will be a great game, but so will Cooper vs. Ryle, IMO

Corbin will play Whitley Co. in the opener next year. They have not played each other in about 30 years or so, at least it seems that long to the best of my recollection. It didn't take Coach Haddix and Coach Chappell long to get this game done.:thumb:

Very true, always have. SK has had their number lately. I was, however, referring to Ryle who will be in the same district as Cooper next year

Collins has loaded up on cupcakes once again.

Rec Bowl vs. Montgomery Co.. Bullitt East, Louisville Eastern, and Boyle Co. to start the year. Will add in Central Hardin and Anderson Co. to close it out. Not bad for a 4A team.

Some of the hardest hitting football games I've ever seen involved these two teams, glad to see they are playing each other.

couple that with a tough region in what I think will be a vastly improved Monroe team and playing Central just to get to Bowling green and Belfry or Lex Cath or Boyle will be waiting.....Geez 3A is going to be a monster next year!!!

It is a tough schedule. LexCath and Boyle are also in the western side of 3A next year. The western half of 3A is going to be brutal.

 

The east has Belfry, Corbin, Bell, Russell

Paducah Tilghman Plays Bowling Green and Central Hardin along with Mayfield, McCracken, Graves next year. This young team better do some work this off-season to get ready for another tough schedule.

The only help there is I dont see Graves repeating their success without Crider... but that is going to be tough. You also forgot to mention Caldwell County enters their district as well.

Bryan Station has SK, Cooper and Meade next season.

I say every year - only half jokingly - that I don't care if Cooper goes 1-9 as long as we win this one game. It never REALLY mattered before and usually opened up our season. Now it's for real, and week 9 - OH THE DRAMA!! Can't wait for Ryle.

John plays a brutal schedule too. Semi finalist: South Warren and Meade Co. Also, PRP, Christian Co (returns everybody previous post), Central Hardin, and Warren Central. Buckle up!! Weak district though.

Hard to imagine John Hardin starting soo slow next season with a plethora of underclassmen with varsity experience coming back as well as an experienced backfield and the ultra talented freshman and sophomore classes.

I don't think they will start as slow (injuries hurt this year), but they will hit some bumps I think. South Warren will be a tough opener and is a possible loss. John is playing several stout 6A schools so a slow start is possible. It's scary to say knowing that they will still be a young team next year.
