Ranking committee is a joke

ACC has been hosed and crapped on all year.

No doubt. Means the chances of Louisville heading to Nashville for the Music City Bowl now very high.

Because even though you take the best Big East teams, they are still Big East teams who stink at football. By taking those teams they have diluted their brand.

Outside of FSU what is it?

Just another reason to hate UL. That was always UKs crappy bowl game, how dare they.

UL Vs LSU?

I don't think the Big 12 will have trouble getting two teams. They would have trouble trying to get a name team, like a BYU or Notre Dame or any team from another top conference. For an opportunity to get a crack at Playoff shared revenues from the conference or potential National Championship money, teams would line up to get out of a small conference and get to the Big 12, I bet.

They had to go all the way to Morgantown, WV for the last team.

Where will they go next?

Buffalo, NY?

3rd to 6th

Here is a stat:

Ohio State is 12-1. Three of those 13 teams (or 23%) have a losing record (Kent State, Indiana, and Michigan).

Baylor is 11-1. Five of those 12 teams (or 42%) have a losing record (SMU, Buffalo, Iowa State, Kansas, Texas Tech).

TCU is 11-1. Four of those 12 teams (or 33%) have a losing record (SMU, Texas Tech, Kansas, Iowa State).

Body of work.

That same body of work still got them to #3 in last weeks rankings. You cant say body of work and then in one week drop 3 spots and use that as an excuse. If they struggled against Iowa st. ok. 55-3 is a strong statement

The same body of work that Baylor defeated #9 Kansas State and Ohio State steamrolled the 2nd best defense in the country in #13 Wisconsin by 59 points. Florida State also won the ACC.

TCU played nobody in Iowa State.

So TCU dropped to #6 because they didn't win its conference outright, Ohio State and Florida State did win its conference outright, and Baylor defeated TCU earlier in the season (which meant more after Baylor defeated Kansas State).

Obviously, geography is not a concern. IMO, the most likely candidates are: Houston, SMU, Rice, Tulsa, Cincinnati, and Memphis.

UAB dropped football.

Others could follow.

For all the FSU you haters! FSU beat #22 Clemson, #5 Notre Dame, #25 Louisville and 11 Georgia Tech ranking at time they played.

Study the circumstances and financials of the UAB situation and then compare those circumstances to the teams I mentioned. Apples to oranges, IMO.

You made a general statement that geography doesn't matter.

It does matter.

These mid major teams cannot financially continue at this pace.

The Texas teams would be perfect if they wanted to join, but again, they know the financial power that the Texas Longhorns have in that conference.

Again, study the financials of the teams I mentioned. I do not think viability of joining the Big 12 from a dollar standpoint is an issue.

ACC is 5th rated conference, BIG10 is 4th.

BIG12 is 2nd.

BIG10 champ is beaten by #10 in the ACC..........

They aren't holding it against Ohio St. because their best player was hurt against VaTech.....but are giving them MORE credit because they are on their 3rd string QB.

FSU best win - #12 GaTech.

OSU best win - #7 MichSt.

Baylor best win - #6 TCU

:ohbrother::no:

Makes 0 sense.

I agree it is a joke
