price499 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 Kelan Martin with 17 points and 6 rebounds on 5/11 shooting.
MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 .... I believe this win makes the Big East 37-2, with both losses coming by Marquette. Butler should be solid this year, but no better than 5th, so this win bodes well for the league overall, and the Dawgs in particular.

statman Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Sometimes a loss only makes a team stronger....... In that case, my Butler team should be pretty strong this year with all the losses we took last year

Randy Parker Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 It's always a good day when Carolina loses.

RomanEmpire Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Kelan Martin with 17 points and 6 rebounds on 5/11 shooting. In 17 minutes played. Impressive for young Kelan.
ggclfan Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Butler has all the ingredients to be a very good team. Good mixture of young kids and vets. Good guard play and some good bigs. I am excited about them this year - could be a top 10-20 team.
Jumper_Dad Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 That's gonna hurt Kentucky 's RPI SOS getting shot to crap today between UCLA and UNC :ohbrother:

Dunham is a stud, for sure, and Rosie being back is huge. Martin is playing well so far, which is a bonus. However, they have very little depth, which will be a problem. Top 10-20? Wow. That is really aggressive for a team unlikely to finish in the top half of their league.

Should be noted though, that there has only been 1 true road game played by the entire league so far. Plenty still left to prove... :thumb:
