Clearly you are a Dixie fan but keep in mind this is a rivalry. Levels, records, who beat who, and who you beat that beat the other team means nothing. This is the playoffs baby! Dixie has beaten Tates Creek twice this year...

Dixie has beaten Ryle twice this year...

and they are about to beat SK for the 2nd time this Friday night... why? Because Dixie is on another level.

There was not enough seating for the regular season match up. Add that over 2/3 of the nky area teams are no longer playing, and its a playoff game, prepare to be a sardine in a can.

 

Doubtful with the weather forecast.

Now I'm just flat out rooting for SK. :scared:

Wait. Unstoppable run and good passing game? Cov cath? I'm on the Dixie bandwagon and think they will win and I do hope whoever wins can make a run at it, but some of the adjectives being thrown around are a little over the top here. Now if you say unstoppable against the teams you've played so far, okay. But I'm not so sure Dixie's opponents are much better than SK' so far other than CovCath. And that one good opponent seemed to be able to shut down the pass and the run.

Dixie's Stadium was done very badly when they renovated it. Granted they are land locked, but there isn't enough seating. The concourse is so jam packed during games im not sure how its not a fire hazard.

Best stadium in NKY, collegiate feel, great atmosphere, and I'm not even a Dixie fan.

Not saying you're wrong, but there is no way you can assure me of that. What makes you so "sure". Cov Cath was the toughest game on Dixie's schedule. Yes, they went through a rough stretch in the middle of the season and now seem to be on the mend. Who has Dixie beat that leads you to believe they would blow out Cov Cath right now. Not the Cov Cath from 3-4 weeks ago.

Not sure if everyone follows this rule or not, but you're not supposed to shovel the snow off turf in fear of damage. We either brush it or water it. The water melts the snow and drains thru normal drainage. Those are the only two ways we are allowed to remove snow. Trust me...I know. Baseball and our softball team has removed it to workout out there in the winter.

Hot off the press LA...and it may help others in the same situation...

 

Just got an email for how they have the plows on the field! Check this out!

 

They took a piece of PVC pipe and cut it the length of the plow blade. Then, cut a slit the entire length and slide it over the bottom of the blade. So, the PVC is in contact with the ground and not the metal blade. It didn't get it completely cleared but got 3.75" of the 4" that was on the field. If it didn't start to freeze at the bottom if would have gotten almost all of it off.

Lies.... There is the same amount of seating at Dixie as there is at SK. They are both Kenton Co. Schools for gods sakes, why would there be a huge disparity in what they offer? Aside from the fact that Dixie's athletic complex makes SK's look like a pasture, they are completely the same:thumb:.
