October 31, 201411 yr In the history of BGP what are your "Mt. Rushmore of Threads" Might take some serious pondering to remember. Lawnboy13 started a thread asking if we've overkilled the Mt. Rushmore type threads yet, making me think that a thread about "The Mt. Rushmore of Threads" might be interesting for the sake of revisiting some classics. mcpapa has already offered this classic to be in his final-four... http://bluegrasspreps.com/bluegrasspreps-coms-break/24-hour-african-112498.html

October 31, 201411 yr http://bluegrasspreps.com/classic-bluegrasspreps/i-have-confession-13164.html AKA the CheerNbHappy thread for old old timers (I was a lurker at that time. Don't even try to make sense of that one) and The Door would be on it for me.
October 31, 201411 yr Begins with this one. http://bluegrasspreps.com/classic-bluegrasspreps/our-friend-alabama-235564.html I agree!

October 31, 201411 yr For some reason I can't find the thread for Birdsfan, but it belongs on there too.
October 31, 201411 yr I will say an instant classic, and the artist can start sculpting this one into the mountain as we speak just so it will be ready by the time this thread comes to life next year in the football forum. SK vs Highlands prediction thread

October 31, 201411 yr I to have to say "The Door"! I'm still waiting for Alan Cutler to jump out from behind the door chasing Coach Cal for a 1 on 1 interview.
October 31, 201411 yr There's a classic Rose Hill thread that was the reason I joined this site. It was fantastic. Rickyp and the maroon mafia, priceless.
October 31, 201411 yr The threads on Birdsfan's and Alabama Larry's passing, as others have said, are mine.
October 31, 201411 yr My favorite threads tend to be threads about music AND include those in which Jim Schue doesn't make an appearance to disparage my opinions. I have always found it perfectly fine for me to disparage others, but when Jim gets on his "negative rant" high-horse about something I like, I feel all dirty and stuff.
October 31, 201411 yr On tangent, if there are a couple of threads floating around that need to find their way to the Classic Forum please let us all know. Again, only a couple of them because we want true Classics. Classic BluegrassPreps
