At home games on every NewCath touchdown the past 3 or 4 years, they have a huge airhorn that goes off. It has to be transported on the back of a truck and is positioned by the scoreboard at Newport Stadium. Hopefully it goes off quite a few times tomorrow.

I am sure the KHSAA left it intentionally vague and up to the discretion of the individual schools.

Over the years I've come to believe the KHSAA has a guy to check all new rules and if they aren't ambiguous he rejects them.

I don't think so. It reads to me like the concern is interfering with play. I think you can have an air horn at a game and use it after a TD or at a time when it does not interfere with the game and be ok.
