Mainly they haven't looked like most thought they would this year.

The hype train has definitely come off the tracks. Remember back over the summer and there were LSU folks talking about Leonard Fournette winning the Heisman?

Also, they only play four road games this year and the neutral site game was right up the road in Houston. When did Les Miles start studying at the Jim Boeheim School of Scheduling?

My heart is telling me UK but my brain is telling me LSU. As some know, I am very good at predicting scores, I called the 24-14 at halftime UK/ULM game and also many others. I am going to say.

Kentucky comes out fired up, scores first. 7-0.

LSU responds with a 3 and out. Kentucky goes up 10-0.

Karma comes back to Kentucky.

Halftime,

LSU 13

Kentucky 10

LSU wins this one at home with a lot of field goals.

Final:

LSU 30

Kentucky 23

Overlooks a team that went 2-10 last year and lost 49-0 last trip there. With two top 10 teams after UK' date=' yes they will look over the Cats. UK wins...[/quote']

Last year is exactly what it sounds like, last year. LSU will NOT be overlooking UK.

UK has not proven that they can stop a SEC running attack. If UK's offense doesn't sustain some drives early, I see this one being put away in the

4th quarter. LSU 41-UK 14. LSU with 280+ yds rushing. I really hope that I am wrong.

Your absolutely right, I believe Stoops may stack the box more than usuall in this game though.

I think UK could win but I don't think it's likely. LSU hasn't impressed. If UK can get through the first quarter, I think they'll hang around and have a shot.

That said. If UK gets up 14 early, LSU can't pass their way back in.

No but they could sure run their way in. If Spurrier was more patient late in the SC game he could have perhaps tied it with the run game. Instead he got too ansy and started passing it and it played into Kentucky's favor. They hadn't stopped the run game all night, but had played the pass well.

31 UK

24 LSU

J.D. Harmon is the player who is suspended for a half vs. LSU.

Do you know what he did to bring this on?

Its funny I was watching that game and kept thinking he had plenty of time to run it down UK's throat and he comes out throwing the ball. The Ole' Ball coach out thunk himself!!!

It is for the hit that coulda/shoulda been called targeting. If it was called he would have served the same 1/2 game suspension (and also been ejected from the ULM game).
