The point of emphasis on the hands, forearms, and pushing will not be called correctly.

You can bet on it.

Every post player will foul out the majority of games if they stick to it.

Can you guys elaborate on the POE?

Is this the absolutely no touching, not even one hand new POE? A year after making the two handed touch a POE.? Why don't we just stand still.

At least they will straighten out the announcers!

So, can the announcer indicate who scored while the clock is running?

What's up with this can't name total player and team fouls?? Can't emphasize a made two or three for ur home team or emphasis the starting lineups. IMO that's the pa announcers main job pumping up the crowd. I'd be disappointed to go to another gym and their pa guy not doing this. :ohbrother:

"Three-point goal by Crawford. No biggie."

Heaven forbid they stop the game and announce a players milestone achievement

"Crawford with another three. You have to guess how many and how many points he has scored."

Campbell County PA guy is gonna have a fit.

Per the rule, can the announcer even say that Crawford has scored a three?

Is that announcer rule real? Are they serious?

Here's the report from NFHS on POE. I don't see anything about hands.

I misspoke.

Not technically a point of NFHS point of emphasis, but what you saw at the beginning of the NCAA last, is what will be called in high school this year.

Hand contact more than once or with two hands, arm bar, etc. is supposed to be called. I hope they do, but certain teams will get away with it while others will not.
