What a game tomorrow night. Elliott Co. wants revenge and Russell is hungry.

This should be interesting. Vanhoose & Ferguson. Who will prevail??????

Russell has being playing good "D" this tournament and can get in your face on the perimeter. Can Elliott do something with Russell's inside game with the way they have stepped up. Gill has really gotten physical and is fighting for position underneath. If Elliott Co. is on they can shoot the lights out and Vanhoose is due to light the nets up. Barn Burner Sat. in Morehead

Russell seems to have pulled it together at the right time, I still believe that Elliot can win this one. At least I hope so: Elliot - 58, Russell - 52.

I dont think Russell's elder statesmen are ready to concede the region to the youngsters at Elliot, I say let them marinate another year! Look for the Russell D to be "stiffling" Saturday night (and it will need to be)

I would like to see Elliott make a trip to Rupp, so I am going with them by 3 pts.

They're on a roll, Elliott County win this one!

I have thought all year that Elliott county was as good as anyone in this region and I knew that they would make some noise in the region. Now they are on a roll and I see them cutting down the nets. Next Stop RUPP.

Here's an interesting thought. Based on the make-up of these teams, this could be the regional final game again next year. And with that said. I'll make this call and you can say you heard it here. Russell will win back to back regional titles this year and next year and then Elliott Co will win it the next two years. There you go. I've saved all the guess work for the next four years.

Geez, that sounds a little bitter for what was obviously a joke.

 

And to explain "ttt" a little better because it took me a while to understand. In a forum such as basketball when a lot of people are commenting in different threads, sometimes the thread you are interested in drops way down the list. So by typing "ttt" (to the top) it puts the topic you are interested in back up there and gets more looks and more comments.
