If you read the update thread I said it was a terrible call. I thought it should have been a no call but haven't seen a review of it.

 

The illegal man down field was the correct call.

Not blaming anyone. It was just a game changer. I don't like either team, I was interested in watching a good game until Notre Dame came on. Objectively speaking, it was an 8pt game w/ UC having momentum. What should have been a 1st and ten 15 yards down field turned into a 1st and 25. UC punts, OSU scores on the second play. That is on UC's awful defense, but that play was a big turning point in the gam.e

The OL that was flagged was within the 3.5 yard space past the LOS allowed. There was an OT that was at 4.5 yards on the backside 30 yards from the QB and WR. Technically it was a flag, but one that is never called on a lineman so far from the action and not engaged in a block...
