Little bit of an over reaction wouldn't you say...kid could have been permanently injured by the over zealous coach...all for a college prank  At least it was Buckeye on Buckeye crime :)

I think he was trying to make a statement to all 106k in attendance...

You all talked your smack for a few years, we put it to rest tonight. See you all again in a few years.

From the fan base that talks smack constantly until bowl season and they end up blasted ay an SEC school in the big game. God I love irony.... :lol2:

We don't talk smack we think we have good teams and certainly have plenty of work to do against the SEC like everyone else who isn't in the SEC (remind me again about what Florida did your liver). Beat Arkansas last time around but have over 100 weeks to go. Hoping our SEC coach figures it out. The B10 sucks, I've said it in other threads, OSU is 2 years away from an Urban Meyer "SEC" team.

This was a UL/UK style beef that you all started a few years ago with your shirts, take your medicine and move on.

OSU tied the NCAA record for first downs in a game and ran over 100 plays. I feel we are close to an "SEC" offense but have a LONG way to go on defense.

Really is too bad you guys weren't good enough to run up the score to make a point like you so deeply desired over a t shirt from 5 years ago. Maybe next time... :lol2:

Go to bed.

Nope...

On the radio they said 108,362.

Buckeyes gave up three bad plays on defense, which seems to be the story the last few years. This time around they had the offense with the #2 QB playing very well which resulted in the 22 point win.

Listened to the game on the way home from the Oberlin game yesterday. Oh did I mention that Oberlin is still the last in state team to beat the Buckeyes? Lol

Oh and btw, there was a local NKY WR who led Oberlin yesterday in receiving yards...just thought Id mention it ;)

How ironic is it to listen to UC fans in this thread talk about why people hate OSU fans.

UC fans are the reason many cant stand UC. They have to be the most obnoxious even in a loss. The excuses, the bashing and the total denial is just sad.

Not all of them but one in particular looks like a fool in this thread.

As usual, your level of reading comprehension is low... :thumb:

From article in the Cleveland plain dealer....

3. That said, a penalty helped change the game. It's not to say the end result would have changed, but the game-changing quality of the offensive pass interference call on Cincinnati in the third quarter can't be denied.

And it wasn't a questionable call. It was a blown call that resulted in a 30-yard swing. Ohio State cornerback Eli Apple grabbed the jersey of receiver Johnny Holton as he ran past him. Grabbed it and stretched it by the shoulder pads. Holton pushed back to get Apple to let go, and the officials saw the Holton push and called that.

So it was a 15-yard penalty on Cincinnati instead of a 15-yard penalty on Ohio State. Beyond the critical field position, the Bearcats were now stuck with a first-and-25 and didn't convert.

Cincinnati had the Ohio State defense back on its heels at that point. Imagine if the call had gone as it should have. The idea that the Bearcats would have scored after getting a first down on the Ohio State 45-yardline isn't a guarantee, but it's not hard to imagine. If Cincinnati had done that, and made a two-point conversion, the game would have been tied late in the third quarter.

That doesn't mean the Cincinnati defense was ever going to stop Ohio State. But life would have been much more difficult for the Buckeyes, who instead scored seven plays after the Cincinnati punt to go ip 15.

When a heavily pro Ohio State paper is pointing it out..........

Entertaining game. My two most hated fanbases going at it. Ohio State fans still think Woody days coming back, and UC, well who knows where their attitude comes from, they've never done anything in anything except be the tallest midget in weak conferences. Good to see Gunner Kiel finally find a home, I think he graduated hs in 1999. Great part about being a Jayhawk fan in football season, I get to watch a lot of games without tinted glasses because my team stinks. East Carolina might just score 100 pts on this UC defense.

It was an awful call. But, 100 plays and 700 yards later it would not have mattered. And btw, there were some blown calls both ways. #4 elbow hit ground before that crucial fumble. Get that call right and three or four more plays its 38-7 and lights out. Amazing that there wasn't one camera angle to show it, but I've seen a couple still photos on Twitter that show it.
