Can someone please tell me what beheading someone does for your cause, other than the obvious? I just don't get it.

I think in there way of thinking if the head and body aren't together at death you can't/don't go to heaven. To them it is the worst way to kill someone, seems I heard that recently.

according to Obama Isis and muslims have nothing in common -- right ?

When was the last time a Christian beheaded someone or murdered them in the name of Christianity ?

And we should be shocked' date=' not hardly, after Isis has asked the Muslims to do it and he obliged. This won't be the last time it happens. I just wonder how it will be labeled.[/quote']

I'm afraid you are correct.

When was the last time a Christian beheaded someone or murdered them in the name of Christianity ?

I'm not sure on the beheading but as for the murder part: When was the last time someone bombed an abortion clinic, killed a doctor at one of those clinics or when was the last killing in Northern Ireland. Then there was that guy in Norway that killed 77 people a couple of years ago because immigrants were eroding their Christian values. There have been millions killed in the name of Christianity over the years.

To your point yes there have been people killed in the name of Christianity...but just because a Christian kills doesn't mean it's in the name of Christianity. However Muslim's rarely kill for any other reason than for religion.

Ah, maybe we read too much into it. Maybe the dude lost it. Maybe he had a mortgage and boat payment. Maybe a bad investment. Maybe he was off his meds. Either way, a filet knife would be my choice. I've removed several heads with a gigli saw before. That would be interesting also.

People on FB are already talking about this as if ISIS is in OK now.

How about an ISIS wannabe?

A lone wolf?

Or a copycat, and an inspiration to others here in America.

How about an ISIS wannabe?

That is what I was getting at, a lone wolf.

Or a copycat' date=' and an inspiration to others here in America.[/quote']

ISIS has called for people in the US to act, on their own.

I thought the guy lived.

Did he die since the police report? Sounded like they said he and the other victim were stable in the hospital. Did I misunderstand? Or did you?

My apologies. Admittedly I did not read the article, just the OP and say the following:

Disgruntled worker beheads one woman, stabs another and is eventually shot and killed by company COO Mark Vaughan who is an off duty LEO.
When was the last time a Christian beheaded someone or murdered them in the name of Christianity ?

Kosovo is the only instance I can recall.
