I would enjoy watching UC win, be I can't say I'll hold my breath on waiting for this to happen.

After the Miami game UC needs to be much much better to even keep it close.

It's been 93 years since another Ohio team has beaten Ohio State and it was Oberlin College. Being an Oberlin Fan I'm pulling big time for Ohio State in this one.

 

 

(I did tell Oberlin's coach after last weeks game in which they won that if UC does beat Ohio State this year, then he needs to schedule Ohio State next year to get the record back, he thought I was joking )

 

 

 

 

Oberlin is a former rival of Ohio State

In 1921, the teams met again as Ohio State came off a Rose Bowl appearance and a conference championship the previous year. The Buckeyes gained the lead in the first five minutes of the game after they scooped up a blocked Yeomen punt and scored. The Buckeye score would be the last time Ohio State crossed Oberlin’s goal line.

In the third quarter, the Yeomen put together an 85-yard drive that ended with a touchdown. Oberlin’s kicker completed the point after, which proved to be all the lead the Yeomen would need to seal the victory. As of the end of the 2013 season, this is the last time another team from within Ohio has beaten Ohio State.

 

I want to keep it that way so Go Buckeyes!!!!!!

Love my Bearcats and hoping for a win...but after watching us versus Miami, not sure how it will go.

 

My boyfriend is a huge OSU fan and UC fan, and I'm a huge UC fan. So naturally, his best friend (also a huge UC fan) planned his wedding for the day of the game. :ohbrother:

I totally get this and agree but this is the year to "get" OSU. The Heisman trophy QB is out and 80% percent, yes 80% of all points scored this year have been scored by fresh/sophomores.

 

I think OSU wins but not by 30+.

Nope, but Ol' Urban works for, with, and around hundreds of others that remember it well. The Ohio State Athletic Dept offices are like giggly little school-girls this week in anticipation of this game.

 

There will be no calling off the dogs this week. There will be no pulling the QB (Tebow) in the 3rd quarter because the game is a laugher.
