.... The difference in the two programs (other than state championships, wins, winning streaks, facilities, and support) is that BG has taken their loss on the chin like a man. Blackman, even a year later continues to plead a weak boo-hoo case like a spoiled brat.

 

That's literally the dumbest thing I have heard yet..... I didnt plead anything. I said that KY teams seem to be playing in a more delicate environment. Thats my opinion. AND I have said and will continue to say that your coach completely diminished the reputation of your program by cancelling out on the game here in TN with Blackman. You know that's true. PERIOD.

 

When I still think about it, all I can think of is the KY fans who called our kids Thugs and classless when YOUR coach was the one screaming at the refs at halftime acting like a (donkey) when it was apparent that his team was getting pushed around. Im tired of hearing the crap about our kids running through the Purple area and disrespecting y'all. The "facilities" are screwed up with no visitor section so who knows where they should run when coming or going. Look at the film....it's obvious.

 

And our guy was held accountable for his actions on the field. He was suspended two games...just like anyone else. My point was that 17 year old kids make mistakes. I'll assume that trend will continue.

They lost...not sure who the best team was. With that many penalties...and lost by one on the road. Blackman was good last year but not near the best in TN. They are much better this year. Too bad BG decided not to return the commitment. Well...moot point anyway.,

 

They were solidly 2nd best in 6a last year. Not better than Ensworth and one or two others but certainly top 5 overall.

Blackman got what they deserved when they played Bowling Green. They got beat by a better team. Maybe this year they can come together and be great, but last year they were very overrated. I never figured out what all the fuss was about. They lost to probably Kentucky's best team last year and didn't like it. Imagine that! To me it was like a little kid on the losing team of a pee-wee football game. He cried all the way home. In this case, the adults are still crying. Music to my ears!

Personally as an alum of the football program I wish Lexington Catholic had been the one to break the streak. But I can give credit where credit is due, Congrats to Bowling Green on an incredible run. The only time I'll wish a KY team a loss is against my Knights! Y'all won with class!

Y'all are like a broken record...you've got a million excuses for why you "should" have won or "would" have won. Blackman had the lead on BG with two minutes left in the game and 70 yards between BG and the end zone. They failed. At the end of that failure of a drive for them, everyone in KY and TN knew that on 4th and long, BG was going to throw the ball to Fant, and Blackman maned him up with their best player...who failed too. No flags were thrown on that failure of a drive. No referee interference occured on that failure of a drive. Your beloved Blackman Blaze just failed...just like BG did against McCallie. Lots of teams in TN. The odds of them playing are not that good. McCallie does play Siegal which is in Murfreesboro also. If you had gone to Blackman...you would have been ok. To say any different is silly. I have never heard of anyone being treated any different at Blackman than anywhere else. They have great facilities just as all Murfreesboro schools do. You would have had your own side to sit. It would have been a good game to play. Too bad it won't happen. Since the streak is over...would have made BG better for sure.

Yes Pride, we talked to a McCallie Coach that said it is a very expensive system that records individual drives for the respective offense and defense and then when they come off the field they huddle over their with their coaches and discuss/show their players the adjustments they want them to make right there on the spot.

You are mistaken. My friend, the one that you, in a bush league maneuver, called a "donkey", did not cancel the game, nor did he buy out the contract. You must be blind if you think that our reputation is diminished with all of the positive posts on here, and not just from our fans. He had a beef with the officials as well, but he didn't air them out in the newspaper. And our school is one of the top high schools in the United States, public or private, and has been for several years.

 

17 year old kids aren't the only ones who make mistakes. You're making your share just on this one post.

I'm sure it was probably erroneous, but at some point I thought someone indicated to me that you weren't allowed to watch film in-game.

The rules have recently changed DF. It was that way before.
