McCallie has Ensworth...Baylor...and Brentwood Academy all at home the next 3 games. That should tell how good they are. I think they are pretty good to overcome that many penalties and still win at BG.

Rules should be the same. They both use national high school rules.

I believe BG has gained stature and fans in this loss. Class programs always shine through. A regular season loss is just that, a loss. Any pressure the streak generated is now gone and I suspect has left a renewed resolve in the players to prove they remain at the top in KY. A SC will go a long way of soothing the sting the players and fans are feeling today.

McCallie is no slouch. BG has a very good team that will likely win another title. A streak that long against anyone is an incredible accomplishment.

Very true. I do think they can add on to consecutive state championships streak and I am looking forward to following their progress as the season continues.

 

I'd have loved to have gotten the consecutive games streak but I am so sincere when I say all I want to do each year is beat Warren Central and win the state championship. Everything else is icing on the cake.

It was definitely a fun ride and something that a lot of kids will be able to say they were a part of.

As Antwan pointed out, the rules are the same. What it seems like to me is that TN plays a more scrappy brand of football than what KY refs and fans are accustom to. It's common here in TN to see a little pushing and shoving as well as some jawing with no repercussion from the referees. When Blackman was in KY, The band couldnt even play like they do down here.

I assume that would explain the Blackman player who was ejected this year on national TV against Oakland for the similar antics that the BG faithful witnessed last year?
