The key to this victory was Beachwood's ability to run the football, plain and simple. The dictated the trenches and Franklin County had no answer when Beechwood started dialing up play action passes. Most complete game I have seen by Beechwood in the last few years, IMO.

That was one heck of a performance. Great game plan, great play calling on offense and defense, and great execution by the players. One of the most impressive games by the Tigers in the last couple years. Everyone got in on the action. The Tigers have to feel really good about playing that way against a spread offense. Nice win Tigers.

Congrats to Beechwood on a great performance. The Flyers being down a bit this year doesn't mean they can't compete. Get real people. Back to work and prepare for District play and get better going into the playoffs. The better team won tonight. That's life. Give credit and get back to work. Flyers actually had 220 yds of Offense for the game, but not enough early as the Tigers set the tone. Good luck to both teams. Go Flyers!

Nice post admitting you were off in your prediction. It is a shame you missed the Beechwood defensive scheme blowing up Franklin County's offense. The Tigers looked very strong on both sides of the ball.

Sigh of relief for a few perhaps. For most fans, they entered the game with the view of it as a chance for this team to show how good they can become. We are all confident Beechwood is going to be there battling for a title in the late rounds of the playoffs. This game was more about finding out how good the chances are of Beechwood winning those late round games. The possibility of winning those late round playoff games got a big boost with this win and the way the Tigers won it.
