Softest Franklin County team I have seen in some years. Got bullied by Beechwood, felt bad for the boys. Beechwood has a beautiful place and a great team, good luck down the road. Hopefully FCHS can get it together, everyone in the district is ready to knock them down after the last few years.

Hate to say I told you so, but.. I told you so. County can't compete anymore.

Flyers did not appear so on Friday, but time will tell! Dont get carried away though.

Sigh of relief for tiger nation or not? Give your kids and coaches some credit. Beechwood is capable of winning a state championship this year! Go Tigers...

 

Sigh of relief for a few perhaps. For most fans, they entered the game with the view of it as a chance for this team to show how good they can become. We are all confident Beechwood is going to be there battling for a title in the late rounds of the playoffs. This game was more about finding out how good the chances are of Beechwood winning those late round games. The possibility of winning those late round playoff games got a big boost with this win and the way the Tigers won it.

 

I do not think that even a negative guy like me can find anything wrong in that performance. All-around awesome effort by the Tigers. The numbers of players that contributed on both offense and defense was amazing. That was the kind of team I expected to see all year. Not a few stars, but a ton of very good athletes all doing their part. As I said in the update thread, the first half was certainly the best I have seen in many years. Definitely going back to 2011, but possible even before.

 

Clearly Prepared, Good Play Calling and excellent execution by the boys. After seeing that, I have put in for my Vacation in early December and made Hotel reservations in Bowling Green.

 

I also want to give some kudos to that BW Student Section. You guys will be a huge part of the Tigers success this season. Even with the tough Dixie loss, the Student section stayed until the end supporting their team. The team clearly feels the support and responds. More importantly, they appreciate it. I have heard many comments from the players about it. It may not be the Colonel Crazies level yet, but it is the most unified, loud, supportive student section I can remember. KEEP IT UP!

I'd like to apologize to the Franklin County cheerleaders and fans on behalf of Beechwood. Some of our students ran through the cheerleaders with the T-I-G-E-R-S flags after the last score. Normally this wouldn't happen with our students, don't know why it did on Friday. I did notice our Asst Principal who usually keeps and eye on things like this was not in the area at the time.

 

This did happen one other time on support the troops night when some of our nations bravest (soldiers) did it. They were caught up in the moment!

Yea the student section was rude to our girls I noticed it a few times they also barked at them when they first came out and mad dog calls, mostly boys being boys, but that was pretty rude. But hey its part of it. thanks for the apology.(This was mostly just a group of about 8 boys in the bottom left corner.)
