I went right to Highlands and looked up. Bryan Station was ranked higher

Dr. Lit took it to the grave with him. How it is computed each week is (the great) beyond me.

Basically they start with a number (basically carried over from last year) and then go from there. I don't think out of state games count because the opposition does not have a number assigned. So to be #1 CovCath had a number to start the season as did Boone Co and Dixie. CovCath beats both badly (and Dixie's number would go up after beating Beechwood by a large margin) and the loss to Moeller does not count so that's how they become #1.
