As much as I may hate to say it....there are two Flag Carriers for Kentucky football

 

T and H until someone proves they can beat them on a consistent basis that won't change...too bad they are afraid to play each other in a real game.

Would be the biggest game in the state each year...sorry X

Not threatened at all. I have acknowledged on multiple occasions that BG was better than T in 2013 and was the best team in the state. Shoot, I didn't even bring this thread back up. I am just responding to specific comments.

It was another thread someone made about BG and Graves (I think Graves) last week falling from Grace that made me think of this thread. I figured now that order is restored in KY I would dig around for thus thread to see what reactions would be after the turn of events.

I do what I can. I was going to greet the team back on campus after the win but we didn't get back from Christmas at Makers Mark and Christmas at My Old Kentucky Home in time. Highly recommend Christmas at Makers, it was good to meet Bill Samuels, Jr.. I may make a separate thread about it.

A lot seems to ride on an individual's definition of 'flagship'.

 

From my point of view it would be Trinity, but I'm hardly going to get heated with someone who disagrees. The title is too open-to-interpretation to hold much meaning.

I don't know...both school have trouble scheduling competitive games. Seems like it would make sense to play each year...if ones not afraid of the other then maybe someone can tell us why they don't play each other. Is it T not wanting to lose to a smaller in-state school or H not wanting to get ran over year in and year out?

Of course you are, Trinity would love good instate competition with BG but for now we are forced to look at Ohio, Tennessee and Indiana for non district games.

What does that have to do with not playing Highlands, they already have a good relationship as they scrimmage each season. Just seems playing each other would be a great per-district tune up for both teams.

Talking to the wrong guy. I'd love for BG to own you guys like BG owns St. X. I'm not on the staff. And yes, if BG loses to Graves County and this thread is dug back up then yes, threatened is the first word that comes to mind to me. I'd forgotten all about it.

That's way I understand it. Treated very rudely is what I have seen. And honestly I'm not surprised.
