If we were talking about 1 year then you can pull the mythological made up national championship. 1 year doesn't trump 3 years.

It's real easy to pound your chest and brag about how great you are and then when certain schools call you hang up on them.

BG played Blackman last year...Blackman would have destroyed Trinity last year...no one will argue that...Blackman is better than ANYONE Trinity played during their 50 games...get over it, BG is king for now.

 

I also have NO DOUBT that Trinity will be back atop the mountain soon enough. Have some class and applaud someone else's accomplishments for a bit.

Sure they did...who wouldn't be scared of 6-6 team who got bounced in the 2nd round of the playoffs?

The streak means more to Trinity than anything it seems. I remember a few years ago they wanted to get on Boyle County's schedule at the last minute to make sure they didn't beat their streak, when Boyle said they would play them but later in the season I think Trinity backed out. If they could preserve their streak they didn't want to play.

When T was making it's incredible run in 2011 I was pounding my KY chest with them as my sticking point in arguments against those from Ohio or TN or FL. But this ain't 2011.

Trinity was refused twice. That is where some were saying Flagships don't refuse games.

I would say it can be lost in a year but probably not won in a year. The title can be in limbo in my opinion.

T had a great run, only wish some of their supporters were as classy as other fans around the state who supported T through their run.

 

Shame when another team is on a historical run you can't be just as supportive.

You appear more biased than I. I am of the opinion that the flagship title is up for grabs. If T beats X convincingly I would say the title shifts further from BG and closer to T and Male but with Scott Co close also. How games between Male and T go will further shift the title around. This season may not determine things.
