My mom

Featured Replies

My mom will be 75 next month, and still walks 6 miles a day. I got a 2 text back to back today from my brother and sister telling me to call them ASAP. That definitely scared me. I called my brother, and he told me mom had been bit by a dog while walking this morning. It was a relief that it wasn't anything serious, but as you can see the dog got her pretty good on her left leg.

Yeah she's tough as nails. She waited about 6 hours after she was bit before she told any of us. Said she didn't think it was that bad. She's old school. Have to drag her to doctor.

Must skip a generation. :)

No doubt. I'd been crying for my mom. :)

I'm glad she's okay, LRCW. I love tough women like that.

It was a Thug dog. Seriously, it was some sort of Terrier.

She didn't call you because she didn't want to hear a Reds sob story. She's first rate and you're a blessed man to have her. And for the record, I'd make it my mission to end that dog by whatever means necessary.

Her wound looks just like my left finger did a couple years back. German Shepherd he magically disappeared afterward.

Keep her wound clean and hopefully they gave her some meds to keep infection away. Dog bites aren't something to mess around with, had a friend end up in the hospital becuase her bite got infected.

Glad your moms ok.

Wow...that a nasty looking bite! I hope she recovers well and I know she's got great caretakers!

Hope your Mom is okay, LRCW!

And yeah, I'm with spin. Shoot the dog.
