BG is going for a school record 26th straight win at home tonight. Current record is 25, currently tied and previously set from 1993-1996.

I just keep thinking about this game...

 

It will be interesting to see how BG responses if X takes an early lead. BG has been a very experienced team the last few years, which helped them last year in pulling out victories over McCallie, Blackman, and John Hardin. But what about this group? Will they have the same resolve with new starters, and a majority of them playing in their most intense game to date?

 

Can't wait and glad to see both teams have agreed to play another 2 years!

Same thing goes for St. X. No one on this team has ever beaten BG. If BG gets up early will St. X be able to show some poise and stay in the game or will they fold?

True statement. But typically, X is used to having to replace a number of starters because of their high number of seniors. BG benefited greatly because their seniors from last year had a great deal of experience playing as sophomores and some even as freshmen. It will be interesting to see the new starters play in this type of enviornment.

I'm really rooting for BG as I would love to see history made with the consecutive wins. I didn't follow when Boyle Co and Trinity set the standard.

I think BG has been better than X of late and may very well be better than X this year, but for some reason I think the Tigers pull this one out.

I think St. X is just a little too much and ends Bowling Green's impressive run. I've been wrong before though.

Purples win 28-14 and it wont be that close.
