While BG's defense is very good, Walker found success for three years against them. The big issue, especially in the 2012 matchup was that BG knew he was getting the ball pretty much every time and the Purples just sent blitz after blitz at the Tigers.

 

He was a good player for them for two years...his Soph. year he had 7 yards against the Purples.

The Bowling Green machine will continue to roll this week. I think they win by 2 TDs.

Yeah, no he didn't. He had a 10 yard run on the first play of the game, and ran for about a 25 yard TD later in the game.

So what you're saying that if his TD run was his only positive run and he lost 23 yards on his other carries. Not true, was at the game.

Then go argue with the St. X staff...they're the ones that put the stats in. I have no idea how those stats got to be put in that way, maybe there was a penalty on the play, who knows. But I do know, that per the KHSAA, via St. X, Walker rushed for an average of 52 yards per game as a Soph., and given that BG was probably one of the 3 best defenses he faced that year, I'm gonna go with what the St. X coaches put in as his official stats instead of the YouTube proclamations of a fan of the team.

There appears to be no "big" time players in this years game like there have been the past few. Both teams appear to be evenly matched, much like last year, it will come down to the coaching. We'll see if Wolford and Co. have learned from their last meeting.

If Glaser was at the helm last year vs BG its a totally different game. Charles Walker only touched it a few times outside of his kickoff returns and BG had trouble tackling him.

 

I was not sad he didn't get 30+ touches in the game last year. No sir!
