Can't posters just be nice to each other? I honestly think that I answered who I thought would win without being overbearing. I think if we control Ashland's run game we will win. We contained Baker last year but Prince broke our back with several good runs. So' date=' I like our chances if our defensive front seven play to their abilities.[/quote']

You do realize that Ashland has 2 great backs Raceland will have to control this year along with Prince? I think Ashland just has too much fire power this year,

Well, I ruffled a feather. For your information YNot, they invented smart phones and they have autocorrect on them. I didn't catch the switch. Thanks for the insults. Just shows you guys in the bottoms of Boyd Co still are chasing after us. BTW YNot, Good luck against East Carter. I was going to post that in your thread but there isn't one. Is starting a thread against your probation, too????

He won.

Yes, you have 3 good backs but you also are running a new offense and without the aid of your game last week. I stand by my opinion. IF we can control your running game and make you throw, we have a chance. I will say IF we win, it will be a nail biter. You guys have a legitimate shot at blowing us out of the water. I know our skill guys are pretty good and that makes me optimistic. In all reality, it comes down to the big uglies. The front 7 from both teams will decide this one.

I just made an unintentional water reference. Sorry :D

And again with the attacks. How about game discussion? How about how Raceland plans to contain Baker? How about the odds that they can establish any sort of run against them to keep them moderately honest against the pass? Surely you got some type of inside info when you're up there getting that coif trimmed in Ashland every week. Come on, give us some insight on how YOU plan on making this happen. Or you could continue your juvenile jabs at Fairview which is typical.

So....you are the one that decides what people say on here ? Just wondering bc it seems that you are the only one that has a problem with what someone says. As for a silly point made on anything - I don't see where the spelling / interpretation of a small water craft is a major issue but obviously you are correct in it's a "Jon" boat. Congrats on never making a mistake.

As for "how about a game discussion" - again, it seems that you got off that subject as well. Juvenile ?? Uh, o.k. .....whatever that "jab" was about, doesn't you doing the same seem juvenile ?.....Pot meet kettle comes to mind.

I guess the school in the Westwood section of Ashland faithful are a little touchy these days. Seems to me that they have no one to blame but themselves for the criticism that they have received. Program under investigation for now the third consecutive year imo would warrant some criticism .

I do hope that Fairview goes through their season without any of their kids / players being injured.

That's why I said Baker plus their other great backs. Ashland is loaded, will be a huge task for Raceland to go in and get the win on Friday. Of course, that has been said before and Raceland has came out the winner. That (Raceland win) will be tough to get this season but 'I promise that the Rams will show up, play hard" :thumb:

You must earn the right to "tail smooch".....it's a very nice incentive to hold. You should try it some day. ;)

:laugh::lol::lol2:.............:popcorn:

Lots of people bringing up the 1 point game from last year, which has little bearing on the game this week. Raceland and Ashland has had some great games in the past, but I don't think this will be one of them. I look for the Tomcats to be firing on all cylinders for this one. With the addition of Jake Long on both offense and defense I think that will heavily tip the scales in Ashland's favor. Long gives Raceland another homerun threat to worry about along side Baker, not to mention the running ability of Prince, who should be playing with much more confidence this season. Long will also have a major impact in the secondary, joining several other Tomcats with experience. I believe his athleticism and size will certainly cause problems for Raceland. I have yet to mention Drew O'Bryan who is a rocket lined up in the middle.

I'm not sure if its a blessing or a curse that this will be the Tomcats first game of the season, I'm sure emotions and excitement will be at an all-time high. With all those factors I just don't see how Raceland can keep this one close. I have always had great respect for Raceland and their program.

Ashland will be tough to beat for Raceland, imo even more so with the Putnam renovation / opening / statue celebrations. Actually I was wanting Ashland to had been able to play last week because of that "extra emotion-effort" that the Tomcats will no doubt play with. I was wanting to catch them possibly in a "lull/letdown" after the huge opening week.

Now I guess that the Raceland Rams will hhope be the "rain" on the Tomcats parade....:sssh:

I did see the Rams working on some things: back"peddles", "Swim" technique, LB's "Trolling" about, running some "dive" plays and just generally "splashing" about. Could be a secret weapon of some kind.

RAMS .....According to most all of the Ashland faithful - I really guess that there is No Need for you to even get on the bus to make the trip. So, I take it that you guys should just go into Ashland his Friday and be a "good little team" and not get in their way. After all.....there are celebrations / parties and the like are already in the works due to the Putnam "re opening" and the Tomcats having to wait a week to open their season.

I guess that you "Raceland" are just an after thought, uh ? What do you think about that Rams ? Just a little something to think about, consider. :sssh:

Pretty sure you misinterpreted that. They want them to take boats.

It was like that the other 7 times we came in and surprised them....
