GAME DAY!

:thumb::ylsuper: AEP Rams.....

NO PRISONERS !!

No, really, I was nearsighted so bad it's a wonder I made any tackles at all. I did run into a Nicholas Co. cheerleader once who I got to see up close. Game changer!

:lol2:Not quite spindoc, you sir were one of the best to ever play at Raceland.

Raceland didn't seem to look as good running the ball last week as they had in the past. I guess we are going to find out how good they really are at throwing it. That Ashland secondary is twice as big as Easts and faster too.

Bold prediction though: Prince is forced to throw it more than usual.

I am confident that Raceland didn't show a lot of their sets / offense or defense in the EC game or the grid.

BTW.....7 pages, 124 post. No, there is not much interest at all in this game. :sssh::lol2:

They might still be able to be at the game, just not make contact. But I have no idea about the NCAA rules mumbojumbo. Guess we will find out soon.

I think it is cool that there are local players being looked at by major D1 schools.

Yes, not something that happens too often. If Baker and Long has big years....which they most likely will, I can see them getting some national attention during the summer. I would imagine getting invites to some major camps/combines like The Opening etc.

I agree

Absolutely, I am glad to see any kid from any area school be able to continue playing the game they love on the next level, no matter what level NCAA ball.

For example, 5 of our Raceland kids signed / committed to and are getting to play plus the all important college degree at smaller schools.

Hopefully these Ashland kids will get a serious look from more than one D1 or any level for that matter. Who knows Doc...there have been quite a few college players that were noticed when scouts wee at a game to see another player. Given this, I would love to see Connor Messer have an outstanding game, not only for the RAMS chances but maybe he will get looks as sell. Although I have herd that he (Messer) has had a great offer from, probably will be going to South Carolina on track / hurdles scholly. not completely sure.

Anyway ...... GO RAMS -- Play Ram Pride / Ram Tough Football and shock the area tonight with a W over the Tomcats in their Putnam dedication game.

I Hope that BOTH Raceland and Ashland come out of this one with No Injuries and a W or L ....Good Luck to Ashland in the rest of your season......(after tonight :sneaky:) The Tomcats along with their fans are a class act

Hopefully players and fans both are well hydrated for this game. It's going to be extremely hot

Long has received interest from them, I know this for sure.

That's incredible. I know he is a great athlete, but had no idea he was getting attention from big time D1 schools. I can't remember the last time a local team had potentially two high major d1 backs. If used properly that would be a nightmare for most teams to face.

Good Luck to the Rams and Ashland tonight. Have an injury free game. I am pulling for the Rams tonight since they're in Greenup County, and I like when Ashland loses.

I agree with the Messer thing.. I'd like for him to have a good game for the scouts to maybe take notice.

But if Long and Baker are getting D1 looks/major d1 looks.. Best backfield not only in the area perhaps state next year..

I doubt that you really believe the Ashland team or the majority of their fans don't take Raceland seriously, but it was a good motovational speach. Sounded a little like Lou Holtz

Hopefully without all the slurpy noises.

Invited to camps at UK and Marshall this summer as well
