I'd never heard of him either, but I don't follow recruiting like I used to. His highlight video is awesome. That's a big kid at OLB. #2 ranked OLB in the country and #1 prospect in the state of Ohio. I'd say that the kid can play.

Does anyone have a 2014 Highlands Roster?

 

KHSAA has the roster on it with what looks to be correct numbers at that.

After having taken a gander at this thread the last few days, lets hear where some think the Birds will be as strong or stronger and where they will be weak or weaker than the last several years.

 

I am going to say that Beau Hoge will make everyone forget Drew Houliston and Donovan McCoy real quick. May be even a bigger threat than Pat Towles was a few years back. Not as many weapons as the others had at their disposal, but he is the real deal at QB. To me there are other positions, namely offensive line, where there are big question marks simply because these kids have not been given a shot to show what they can do on gameday other than Kyler Dalton. Bo Hebel was a ferocious blocker at the frosh level for 2 years and Evan Richardson can surely hold his own in the trenches. The move of Matt Gall to offense certainly provides another quality body to step in and solidify the line. These guys may turn into a pretty solid bunch once they get some reps together in the next few weeks.

 

All I got for now, but curious to hear what others have to say.

While they may get a slow start, the least of my concerns is the O line as I fully expect Coach Turner will have them rocking and rolling by mid season.

Tight End position will definitely be better in 2014 than last year.

Saw this quote from someone today on the Enquirer page and thought it pretty much summed up my thoughts on this 2014 group of Birds.
