Red Sox @ Reds (8/12-8/13)

Featured Replies

I had planned to go to these games when the schedule came out. Unfortunately, having a baby and trying to get a house built used up more vacation days than I had planned. I have to save a few to get to my son's football games at EKU so I'm in Roanoke, VA this week. I'd normally be pulling hard for the Sox and giving you guys a hard time when they kicked the Reds butts. However, you guys need these games pretty bad so I'll hope you get a split...:thumb:

The most important thing I was taught about field management was "water management." Aka more often, not heavier. It wasn't uncommon for us to water the Florence Freedom field at 10am, 1pm, 4pm (before BP), 6pm (after BP) and then again after the game ended.

Hamilton 8, Bruce 9, Frazier 5, Mesoraco 2, Pena 3, Heisey 7, Santiago 4, Cozart 6, Latos 1

So, the Reds are starting six professionals?

I was going to suggest the Southbank Shuttle from Bellevue ($1 each way) but you won't be able to walk off the food. I'll be taking the shuttle over tonight around 630 or 645.

Will be shuttling on Wednesday with some friends , first game of the year. Is southbound 71 back into Ky. open? It was problem at different times last year

IF you don't mind paying for parking $17, you can park under the stadium and they have an elevator that takes you directly to the Club. I happened to park there by accident and was within 15 yards of the elevator. I didn't mind paying the $17 because I got tickets for free and had a party of 5 with us. We definately got our money's worth.

I had no idea you could do that. I will be doing that next time I am in those seats for sure.

I didn't either. I thought that was season ticket parking passes only.

The first time I did it was totally by accident. I was trying to park under Banks. The entrance is by the river. Depending which way you're leaving, easy out also. The day I got the tickets I came here and asked about parking, and was told it was for season ticket holders but found out by accident it's open to public. I have parked there three times now. $17 sux but when tickets are free, I count that as cost of doing business. I usually shuttle it from Bellevue Frisch's.

They have an usher in the parking garage by the elevator. It has a red canopy over the door that says stadium Club on it. Takes you right up and let's you right out at club door. I sure didn't walk my food off because I probably walked less than 50 yards for the night.

Everything is open. 471, 275, 75/71 whatever way you want to go South.

My daughter is hoping the beer sales go better tonight than they did on Sunday. Her first day back from vacation so she got sent up top where a lot of families were in for the game and the Christian concert afterwards. Not a lot of beer buyers.

^ At the game. Bought 3 yuenglings to help support her cause.

If the Reds dont sweep this series, then they should pack it up and go home.

So do you surrender?

Tough one to lose with Cards, Brewers, and Braves all losing.
