August 3, 201412 yr And I'm sure the others who became infected too didn't plan on it either. And how many of those others that were infected live in places with the cleanliness and sanitation system of the US?
August 3, 201412 yr And your sources are what, the government. Hahaha, that's a bigger joke than me making up stuff. At least I don't lie and tell it like it is and not sugarcoat stuff. Every single word, eh? All lies. Let's hope the government doesn't start telling us the sky is blue. Could be a raging controversy.
August 3, 201412 yr [/b] I hate to toss a monkey wrench into this conversation, because I can see both sides here. But to the bolded above, I'd hold off on that answer until we see what diseases crop back up that were once eradicated when and if the illegal alien situation in this country gets under control. The last deadly widespread outbreak caused by immigration in North America occurred when smallpox (and other diseases like TB, Syphilis, measles, etc) was brought over to the Americas by Europeans, and wiped out large swaths of tribal populations. The many people that travel in and out of this country legally are just as likely to be carrying some sort of infectious disease as those who are crossing the border illegally.
August 3, 201412 yr Author And I don't believe everything the government says, just most of it. I do believe the illegals crossing the border pose just as big a threat carrying diseases. We are setting ourselves up for big problems.

Do you believe that those people entering the country illegally post a bigger thread than those that enter legally or those US citizens that travel in and out of the county?
August 3, 201412 yr Do you believe that those people entering the country illegally post a bigger thread than those that enter legally or those US citizens that travel in and out of the county? There is no doubt at all that those entering the country illegally pose a bigger health risk than those entering legally do.
August 4, 201412 yr I am so grateful I am not uptight, worried about everything, and complains about everything. Oh, and thankful I have at least some class!

I respecfully disagree. The folks pouring across our border illegally are obviously not screened for infectious diseases. You can't disagree that some of these diseases eliminated in the US years ago will show up again in some of these folks. Have we ever seen this number of illegal immigration to the US? I don't think so.

August 4, 201412 yr Vaccinations required for those entering the U.S. illegally: NONE. Vaccinations required for those applying for visas to enter the U.S. legally: At a quick glance, these look like conditions that we are already vaccinated for. It's not something that I've researched (and can do so, but for the sake of conversation), but is there a serious risk to Americans?
August 4, 201412 yr WOW! Is all I can say about this thread. It's a mess, so I won't speak my mind, but there are a lot of posts that are strictly opinionated, without any factual information to back the opinions up.
August 4, 201412 yr At a quick glance, these look like conditions that we are already vaccinated for. It's not something that I've researched (and can do so, but for the sake of conversation), but is there a serious risk to Americans? The point is that there are vaccination requirements and screening for visa applicants seeking to enter the U.S. but no such requirements for those entering illegally because...they break the law and circumvent laws and regulations designed to protect the public's health. I only listed the vaccination requirements and it took only a few seconds to find that information. In addition to vaccination requirements, there is also a required medical examination and medical survey for visa applicants. Interview Preparation - Medical Examination FAQs Even if illegal immigrants do not pose a big threat to American citizens who have had the required vaccinations, they pose a risk to each other because they will likely live among other unvaccinated illegal immigrants. If they fall ill, then in many cases U.S. taxpayers will be on the hook to treat them. There are very logical and well thought out reasons for our immigration laws and our imperial president has no legal or moral right to disregard or waive them for political expediency.
