I wanted a car that I actually liked. I've never had one. I've always had cars that were out of necessity. I saw that everyone and their brother either drives one of these or Mustang and felt like feeling like a cool kid. I do like the look and the reliability of it over a used BMW or Mercedes.

 

I would stay away from BMW and MB like you said because of reliability.

Due to being commission based, I like flexibility, so I'm more of a payment type. I'm trying to keep it at about $31,000 on the high end. I have an offer from a dealer for close to that, but w/ the sales freeze due to their recall I have to wait until GM figures out how to fix the ignition issue.

combined was like 21 miles/gallon. I drive almost all highway.

I love the look of the CTS and wish I could afford one.

I own a 2012 CTS and love it. I bought it new. My only complaint is trunk space. If you travel a lot and need the space it will be difficult. Other than that, an awesome car. Rides and handles great. Gas mileage about 20-22 MPG. I love it. A 2012 with around 100K will be about 25-28K. Lower mileage will get you to your 31K range.
