I saw them play on Thursday - won the morning game. Can't remember if they won the afternoon game against a team from Indy.

The Travelers lost first round of bracket play Friday afternoon..

I was there yesterday watching Hoop Dreams win two games and The Ville too. I seen Roy Williams, Mike Brey, Phil Martini, Sean woods, Scott Pageant,Leonard Hamilton , Davidson's head coach and several others.Talked to Evan Hall about his recruiting. IUPUI has offered and several other D1. I also heard Army offered Jacob Conway. My boys couldn't believe ol Roy walked in, watching some player on Boo Williams team.

The Ville plays in the final 4 of Nationals against team from Nashville.. Good win against Hoop Dream who will play for a top 8 finish.. Evan Hall may not play because of High Ankle sprain..

The Ville should win it all. I think they could have competed in the Showcase. I think that if the Travelers would have opted to play in the Nationals, like the Ville did, they would have coasted to the championship.... but they chose to play against the tougher competition.

I dont think the Travelers would have coasted to the championship, Wings Elite from Arkansas is in the final four, and they are one of the elite programs in the country. However, I do think they would have a great shot at winning the title. Hopefully, the Ville pulls it out!

The Wings are without by far their best player with Malik Monk at the U17 USA tryouts. Totally different team without him...

And what did that get the Travelers? A loss in the first round of tournament play? I didn't even know they were playing this past week. Nobody mentioned their results anywhere. Still getting good coverage on TheVille though.

I couldn't disagree more. In fact, I would take The Ville head to head against the Travelers. Raymond Spalding is the difference maker there (in my opinion). We'll never know, but it would be a lot of fun to see. The Ville could have competed in the Super Showcase for sure. It all depends on pool placement. I would think they would have a really good shot at competing for the gold though.

TheVille will be playing in the final again City Rocks (a EYBL team).. A local team playing in the final is big. Plus 2 KY teams plain the final 8

Spaulding probably is the difference maker on the team; but from the little I've seen of them, #24 (Evan Hall I think) is the one that does all the WORK that makes the team go.

High motor player.

I believe Evan is out for the final.. He didn't play the morning game, and does not seems to be warming up for the final.

After stumbling in pool play, TBC Elite rallied to place 3rd in Classic Bracket in Nationals.

Good way to finish the season.

Coaches from WKU, Lipscomb and Transy were watching several of their games this weekend.
