With that said...as far the Jones kid and hunting exotic animals; Hey, if you have followed my posts you should know I am a gun owning 2nd amendment US proud patriot and am all for hunting and fishing...but I draw the line at hunting exotic animals simply for the thrill of hunting, UNLESS those animals are at an unhealthy overabundance and need to be culled, ort have become a dangerous/nuisance animal. Which, I don't think is the case here. I'm quite sure some of the animals she is killing are close to being on, if not ON some protected lists and I'm not even quite sure how it's legal to hunt some of them. Read where she killed a white rino. Really? And the meat of some of these animals...do people process and eat the meat of Leopards and Lions? Sorry, I just can't seem to get on board with that.

So, this guy isn't on the ballot for any office, but is soliciting donations as a candidate for office? Isn't that fraud? Definitely a violation of campaign finance laws.

But is it all the time? Prong horn sheep and gazelles she can shoot a million of and probably not even dent the population and I'm sure that meat would be eaten...but do they eat leopards and lions? I honestly don't know. Even if they do, I still can't agree with killing rare exotic animals just for the kill...and I'm still not sure how some of it is legal...unless legal means giving enough money to the right people to make it legal.

This candidate's idea of protesting what the cheerleader did is wrong as can be. But he has a point of being irate with the girl killing exotic animals for the simple pleasure of killing them. The picture of her smiling over the dead lion's body made me cringe.

 

I don't know how anyone could sit and take a picture after killing a beautiful lion or leopard. I realize some animal's populations have to be thinned down in size but I wouldn't think a lion or leopard would fall under that category. This girl has some issues too.

If the populations of these animals made them rare and endangered, I cannot image the government of the country she was in giving permits to hunt them.

 

T. Roosevelt and E. Hemingway are 2 famous people who had their photos taken while big game hunting in Africa. Please do not try and spin it, by saying that was a long time ago or it caused populations to decline. Must be big enough populations currently to allow hunting.

I don't think anyone is spinning anything...you can't compare what happened 100 years ago to today in relation to hunting. 150 years ago or so American Bison (buffalo) roamed the prairies by the millions. Today not so much. Poachers, unregulated hunting practices, mismanagement...all those things play a part in the numbers of certain animals today as in Roosevelt's day, especially in 3rd world countries that have exotic animals.

That's my question...what ARE the laws and what IS on or NOT on certain endangered or concern lists. And the problem is, in some of those countries with their "fly by night" governments, I'd bet money does a lot of talking, and if you have enough they might give you a license to shoot pretty darn near anything.
