Zajac and Moore was past the Dixie lineman before they even got out of their stance! :D

That video doesn't lie. 3 to 5 every play. Muti pancakes. Hope you don't have a lineman in the making!!

Powell, England and Cordell-Armstrong all 3 Juniors next year should be real good for these boys.

I have to give it up to you. Though you would name Powell and 2 SK back ups.

I'm going to give Andrew Arnold of Holmes some props, has just recently been the featured back, plays hard on defense and is a load to bring down on a team that is struggling, of the backs I have seen, the young man from Walton , Compton is impressive.

So getting pushes 3 to 5 yards off the ball is missing tackles?? Lol. You must not watch much football.

You two really ruin these threads. Fortunately I am a huge Brossart fan, otherwise my opinion of a team would be tainted by another ridiculous fan.

I would suggest you guys find the PM feature.

Can't someone has it turned off.

I think this kid has a bright future in front of him.He Can Fly.jpg

That's really awesome. He played sparingly against teams BELOW his district. Whereas Torey only played partial games against teams IN his district. Also and I'd have to do some digging which I'm far too lazy to do, I believe he only played part of the game against Boone County. Truth be told my guess is he didn't play the entire game against Newport Catholic either.

Oh wait Collins may be a 6 Team but again I'm too lazy to look it up. lol

Any team SK plays outside of 6A would be considered below their district, kind of a silly thing to point out.

You missed the point. but I'm too tired to explain it. More than likely I didn't express it very well.

Theres a RB duo at BW that has 1200 yards, averages almost 8 ypc, and has 26 Tds that gets no love. Reason? It's a duo of Joe Studer and Ethan Stringer. If either of those kids were getting 15 or 20 carries a night, they would be right in this conversation. Joe hasn't played in two and a half games and still has 550 yards and 11 tds. They've both only carried it less than 80 times each And IMO if John Stokes was a feature RB he would be too. Depth is their strength. I'd rather run 3 good ones out there all day.

Both Compton and Latimore played most of their games for only a half. I say the best two back tandem in Northern Kentucky.

I have to agree. Its usually a running clock by halftime 6 out of the last 9 games they have played. Imagine what the yards and td's would be if the games were close. Compton is a power runner with break away speed. Latimore is a threat every time he touches the football. With 15.8 yards avg I would have to say i wouldn't want to have to make an open field tackle on him. I would be saying "just don't make me look silly.

I'm sure someone is going to argue that they only play 2A football but something tells me they could start for any team in NKY. Just my opinion.

Yes that could be true, but all the blowouts and running clocks tell me they are not playing very strong competition.

They are good players but it wouldn't be as easy and the numbers wouldn't look as good if say they were on a struggling team. No knock thats just speaking in general of all backs. I know those two can play. Just wish they could prove it against stronger or bigger teams. That would strengthen the arguement.

Good point. They have a pretty good test Friday against LCA. I'm not saying they are the best but should definitely be in the conversation for NKY running backs.

Which is why I always laugh a bit whenever a certain SK fan says, well Powell only played a half of this game or 3 qtrs of that game or only a little more than a qtr in that game. Well it's because the competition wasn't that good and if it were a closer game then he probably wouldn't have the yards and TD's he had that game.

For instance Cordell-Armstrong had 182 yards in only 1 1/2 qtrs that he played of the Grant Co game this past Friday night. Does anyone think he would have that many yards if it were Ryle or Highlands? So whenever someone says so and so only played a half, well that so and so player wouldn't have had those yards if it was against better competition.
