Best Running Backs in NKY

Featured Replies

Yes but in the other picture I see a Dixie lineman that just got ran over. This year Powell has added about 20 pounds bad news for the other teams. :D

LOL at all these "dominating" photos. You guys done comparing .....?

Absolutely. Erdman looked really good in the carries he got last year. He also is a hard running back. With Erdman and Studer, that makes me believe even more that Stringer will see his offensive reps catching passes.

I never thought about this, but that would be a great move. They lost some speed at WR and it would be nice to get Stringer there. I think that's a good fit for him. I have always considered Studer the #1.

Edited... The rest belonged in BW thread.

Okay. We had some success bringing back the QB thread, now lets try the running backs. Same thing goes here folks. Not interested in all of the personal bantering back and forth, but lets here some facts/stats as to who the top 5 are as the end of the regular season draws near.

Powell is still my top pick, big talent and among the leaders despite missed time.

Not familiar with who else is out there although I've seen posts on England and the kid from Cooper who both sound like they're top notch.

Top 3

(purely based off of who I would pick on my team in order)

1. England - Ryle

2. Powell - SK

3. Cordell-Armstrong -Cooper

Powell missed 2 games and still has 1054 yards rushing 7.5 yards a carry 10 tds.

A Jag ahead of a Pioneer?? Prepare for an excuse.

He's already made it. See above but just in case. Powell has missed two games. BUT. Torey only played a little over a quarter against Grant County and none at all in the second half against Scott. He may have been taken out earlier in the Scott game. I don't remember.

You are just unbelievable at this point. Every SK kid is the best. Don't matter what tape shows or college offers are. You hold 0 on BGPs.

Like I said to you before. If the SK players are so good. Spend your time sending their tape out to D1 school. At the end of the day. HS numbers don't matter. Fast would much rather turn on ESPN and see Jonny playing.

Powell only played a quarter against Collions, only a couple quarters against Cooper and only a hand full of plays against NewCath.

You just don't get it. NKY number mean nothing in the big picture. You will post hudl videos of SK players. Post them videos of them were laying Dixe!!!
