Good info, UK#1.

If I had to vote I would give the nod to Smith just barely over Dillon Powell. Can't go wrong with either.

2 different types of runners. Dillon is a more North South runner and Smith is a more outside make you miss runner. Both over 4000 yards rushing for their careers.

We will disagree on "outside ...runner."

Not what I met Dillon will try to run someone over and Jacob will try to bounce around them both are my favorite running backs.

How many are seniors. How many are juniors. Who looks good for next year?

crazy to think what stringer's stats would've looked like with the 3 and a half more games he could have played if not injured.

I agree. Same with Powell he missed a total of 7 games his career.

So now that we're getting closer to football signing date what real options are available to Smith, Powell, and Stringer?

I haven't heard anything yet on Powell or Smith.

I think Stringers options are going to be limited since he's already committed to UL to play baseball. Things could change, but I'm fairly certain baseball is the direction he's heading.

Saw Blackburn in person and although he's listed in the program as a QB, glad to see he's in the discussion as a RB....because really that's how Ludlow used him, whether on set plays or tuck and go from the pocket. The kid is tiny, but all man. His stats have already been listed, but it's what you see on the field that speaks volumes. Great football sense, tough and relentless. Is he as talented as some of the others here, probably not. But he really epitomizes what a high school stud is all about. And just a sophomore this year.

What was I thinking? Completely forgot baseball at UL.

Top returning rusher is Durham from Lloyd.

This is a very nice list of players but I'll take Deondre Pleasant (Scott) over any of them. The young man was injury plagued this year and was grossly misused on the offensive side of the ball but that doesn't take anything away from his skill set. He averaged over 10 yards per carry and 1 TD every 5 times he carried the ball.

If they didn't have offers from a D1 school going into the season and didn't pick up any during the season it's highly doubtful they get one now. They might have options at the D2, D3, or NAIA levels (which still play really good football at a lot of places).
